Traditional medium-ground kava powder is the closest product available outside Vanuatu and Fiji to what you would be served in a native kava ceremony. Made from dried, pounded noble-cultivar root (typically Borogu, Melomelo, or Boroguru from Vanuatu), medium grind requires kneading in cold water inside a straining bag for 8–10 minutes to extract kavalactones.

How to use

Place 2–4 tablespoons in a nylon straining bag (AluBall, Kava Strainer). Add 8–12 oz cold water. Knead vigorously for 8 minutes. Squeeze bag to express liquid. Drink on empty stomach.
