What the badge means

Brands with the Noble badge disclose cultivar names, publish chemotype analysis, and confirm their kava is sourced exclusively from noble cultivars (Borogu, Melomelo, Boroguru, Mahakea, Hiwa, Moi). No tudei. No wichmannii blends. No solvent extraction with undisclosed cultivar.

Verification criteria

  • Cultivar name is disclosed (Borogu, Melomelo, Boroguru, etc.)
  • Third-party chemotype analysis is publicly available
  • Flavokavain B levels are within noble range
  • Kavalactone chemotype begins with 4 or 2 (standard noble ordering)
  • Sourcing country and farm cooperative are disclosed
  • No blend with tudei or wichmannii varieties
